OK, when I cleared everything out, I changed registration to approval, but now my mailbox is getting filled up with tons of spammers seeking approval.  For now, I have disabled registration completely. Angry

I hate to do this since I don't want to make it hard for new users to use my already not used board, but what can I do?  If you really want to get on my Forum legitimately for what it is intended, please email me.  My address is on the home page.  I will gladly help you get setup then.  I will most likely also re-enable registration after a while if it seems the spammers have moved on.  Thanks
2  Transformers / The Cartoon Series / Transformers: 25th Anniversary Matrix Of Leadership Edition on: April 12, 2010, 07:18:42 PM
Well, I recently got the "Transformers: 25th Anniversary Matrix Of Leadership Edition" from Shout!, and I have to admit, I am happy to get the series, but a little disappointed in the set.  The Matrix of Leadership box looks cool, and the functionality of it opening isn't bad, but it is cheap, flimsy cardboard.  As I said about the GI Joe set I got, I worry about the longevity of it but now even more.

Anyway, back to the good stuff.  As I said, fun to watch, and I love the old nostalgia and seeing the old commercials etc.  It has gotten cheesy and campy in certain ways with age, but that is part of what makes it fun.  I really loved this series as a kid...

If you are interested, you can find the set on this site: http://www.transformerscollectorsset.com.

If you have watched any of it yourself, please tell us what you think.

Well, I don't think I had any valid, non-spamming posters, but if so, sorry.  I quit watching my forum due to lack of activity, but of course spammers found it, and I had new account permissions set too easy, so my forum got thousands of spam messages...  I just cleared them all out.  I just find it funny since no one is on here but me at the point the spam started, so I can't believe someone would waste the time and effort.

Hopefully, this will actually be a good and useful forum at some point.  If you were a valid user and want to actually post real messages, please re-register, and I will get you approved and in.  Thanks
4  Anime / Now watching... / Please Twins on: October 07, 2009, 10:58:31 PM
Keeping this one short, I am watching Please Twins right now.  I just finished disk 2 of 4 so I am halfway through.  I like it so far, but I feel there hasn't been much depth of story or progress I guess.  I do like the characters though...
5  G.I. Joe / The Cartoon Series / G.I.Joe The Complete Collectors Set on: October 07, 2009, 10:42:11 PM
Well, I recently got the "G.I.Joe The Complete Collectors Set" from Shout!, and for the most part I really love it.  I really dig the case it came in, and have really enjoyed watching the shows that were such a big part of my childhood.  You can tell they cleaned it up and for the most part it looks great being that it is so old.

If I have to have one complaint, it is the stupid plastic CD wallet/thing that the disk are on.  Sure it is better than packing in a million DVD cases, but a tab on one of the disk holders already broke when removing a disk for the first time.  I worry about the longevity of it.

Anyway, back to the good stuff.  As I said, fun to watch, and I love the old nostalgia and seeing the old PSAs etc.  It has gotten cheesy and campy in certain ways with age, but that is part of what makes it fun.

If you are interested, you can find the set on this site: http://www.gijoecollectorsset.com.  I highly recommend it for the fans out there.  I don't think you can find it in the store yet, and good luck finding it cheaper online, even on sites like eBay and Amazon.

If you have watched any of it yourself, please tell us what you think.

Okay, well I thought it might be fun to start this forum.  I might just be the only one visiting my site, but if I am not, please post here and tell me so.  As this board asked already, tell me what you like about the site, don't like, and what you think would be an improvement.  I will try to take all reasonable suggestions into consideration.

About this site...  As it has said on the homepage, this site started out as a school project years ago when I was learning html, and has kept going from there.  I have always loved Transformers from when they came out in the early '80s when I was a kid, and have built quite a collection of them over the years.  The site is primarily still focused on that as my main interest, but as you can see by the boards I have created, I am starting to incorporate some of my other interest as well.  Please feel free to post on the boards of interest you share in common, and thanks for the participation and for visiting my site.  Stevan
